I must confess that events are probably my favourite thing! My meticulous admin skills and attention to detail will ensure that your event - whatever it is - is a success.

  These were both annual events at Otley College and involved similar tasks. Both needed excellent administration skills to ensure that all aspects of the event had been completed and in the correct order. For both events I produced a programme and organised the photographer.
  
  Approximately 230 people attended the Prizegiving ceremony. I managed the whole process which included: managing the space, equipment hire, catering, organising for the engraving of trophies. It was my responsibility to invite along the prize winners and their families as well local dignitaries. I also had to source a celebrity/guest speaker. Accurate recording of acceptances was crucial to the smooth running of the event. I was also constantly on the look out for new sponsors and had to manage those relationships.
  
  Graduation involved smaller numbers of people but still needed a great deal of co-ordination as the event was arranged in conjunction with the University of East Anglia. Unlike Prizegiving we were unable to hold the event on campus, so it meant sourcing an appropriate venue and liaising with external caterers. I had to write to all graduands and local dignitaries and again, needed to closely monitor acceptances. I also organised for all relevant people to be appropriately gowned.
